Flexible Schedules

In order to discover the network infrastructure devices, a discovery schedule must be defined. Discoveries can run every hour of everyday or only at certain times on certain days. To pick up changes, such as new switches added to your network a discovery must be run, how frequent depends on what suits your environment.

Once the switches have been discovered a poll schedule can be defined that will actually cause porttracker to poll each of the infrastructure devices for the end device information.
